An English Sterling Spaniel Vesta
Made in Birmingham, circa 1878, the hinged form modeled as a spaniel attired in a fancy hat, ruff, and coat, engraved with fur, opening to reveal interior match safe, hallmarked Sterling 925 on the exterior base near the strike, the interior rim struck with English hallmarks. 2 1/2"L.
Condition: "jump ring" soldered to hat, otherwise excellent, no damage or repair.
