An oak desk by the Sheboygan Novelty Company, the rectangular top over a hinged slant front, revealing a writing surface, over two short and one long drawer with original brass pulls, raised on squared legs joined by a shelf stretcher. Labeled on reverse "Sheboygan Novelty Company, Delivered to C. L. Kaufmann, 2253 W. 25th, Cleveland, Oh." 42 3/4" h, 40" w, 17" d.
Condition: losses to finish, lacking interior compartment and hinge, not flush within frame, crack to top and left side repair to veneer on slant front 3" X 5" Patch.
