Description
A rare Yortan Culture black-ware pottery vessel, Western Anatolia, Troy I, c. 3500 - 2600 BC, the rounded body without a base, the mouth flared with tubular neck. Around the top of the body are four triangular-shaped handles, each placed opposite one another. H: 5 in (12.8cm). Ex Birmingham, UK private collection.
