J.E. Caldwell
J.E Caldwell was started in 1839 by silversmith James Emmott Caldwell who wished to supply the Philadelphia elite with stylish European jewelry, silver and ‘objets d’art’. The successful American firm began creating stunning bejeweled, hand-made jewelry in the Art Nouveau style towards the end of the 19th century and in the Art Deco style in the 1920s, both of which they are best known for. Today, the company continues to create high quality jewelry collected world-wide.
