Martin Rettig, Rookwood Artist (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1869-1956) 24" x 22" oil on canvas of still life. Martin Rettig studied with Frank Duveneck at the Cincinnati At Academy. He was a charter member and first president of the Connate Art Club. In 1883, he joined the staff at Rookwood Pottery. Listed in Davenports, Fieldings, Who's Who, etc. One light 3" scratch; otherwise, excellent condition. EST. $600. - $1200.
