George Herbert Baker (Centerville, Indiana, 1878-1943) 9 1/2" x 12 1/2" pastel on paper of the boat shop. Signed lower left "G.H. Baker". George Baker was known for impressionist watercolors and pastels. He was born in Muncie and studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy. He exhibited at the Hoosier Salon and worked in the Richmond, Indiana area, belonging to the Richmond Group of Artists. A well known Indiana artist. Fine condition. EST. $400. - $800.
