Margaret (Moore) Ewert (Illinois, Arizona & California) 8" x 10" oil on board titled "Navajo Hogan". Signed on back "Margaret M. Ewert", title and dated "1947". Margaret Moore Ewert painted in the Southwest in the later 1920's. She then went to Chicago, IL and exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago in 1931 and 1933. She married and returned to the Southwest where she painted in Arizona, California and New Mexico. She is listed in Davenports, Who's Who & Hughes. Fine condition. EST. $300. - $600.
