Paul Ashbrook (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1867-1949) block etching of a tavern scene. Signed in plate "Paul & Henrietta Ashbrook" and dated "1924". Paul Ashbrook was born in New York and attended the Art Students League as a student of William Merrit Chase. He started his career in New York as an illustrator. He moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was a leading figure in the art circle. He was a painter, etcher and illustrator. Fine condition. Etching 7 1/2" x 10 1/2". EST. $50. - $100.
