Pair of Mirrors, Italian, 18th c.
A petite pair of silver leafed mirrors, each centered by a cartouche shaped mirror plate with in hand carved foliate "C" scroll frames, verso of one mirror reads "Sivendone en Andrea Dalla Torre, Indoratore sulla Dia dalle Faggie, Vorona." 19" h, 12"w.
Condition: expected losses to gesso in few pronounced areas, one mirror with small loss to foliate scroll right lower side, minor restoration, mirrored plates probably replaced late 19th century.
