PAIR OF CONTINENTAL SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) PORTRAITS, oil on thermoplastic, two youthful sitters in 17th-century attire, he in military garb with armor, silk collar, and sash; she holding a small white dog wrapped in a red blanket. No signatures located. Each housed in a period, possibly original, molded-composition gilt frames. Probably Dutch. Mid 19th century. Each 8 1/4" x 6 1/4" sight, 16" x 13 Ă‚Â½" OA.
