A wonderful figural majolica oil lamp in original condition, the white globe hand decorated with polychrome enameling in floral bouquets and gold tracery, over on an oil well with three "C" scroll cartouches with interior scenes surrounded by foliage, flowers, and a quilted back drop, raised on polychrome figural standard in the form of tropical foliage, supporting birds and various blossoms, this lush stem is the backdrop for a lady dressed in early 19th garb cooling herself with a fan, supported on a circular base with three scrolling feet, the underside marked with incised numbers "1920" and enameled numbers "59", hurricane acid etched "MACBETH, No. 22, Pearl Glass". 35" h Condition: no apparent damage or loss.
