An English 19th c. Brass Inkwell
The square form raised over four scrolled legs, surmounted by a lid pierced with an ornate crest with a bird rising out of a laurel wreath, opening to reveal an interior fitted with a glass ink reservoir, similarly decorated with a cast scrolling motif, the base cast with the monogram "WT&S" with an abstract sun. 3"H, 6"W, 6 1/4"D.
