the impressive double inkwell cast with a pierced back centered by a lion's head and pen rest, over a pierced surface of scrolling foliage and dragons heads supporting a female sphinx flanked by inkwells, raised on paw feet with a central support containing a grotesque mask, reverse marked with incised letters "A. Crokaert, Deposee." 9 1/4" h. 21 1/4" w, 7 1/2" d.
Condition: Good, porcelain liners with rim chips, hinged lids to inkwells possibly lacking finial.
