Made in England, circa 1815, the scalloped form with embossed grape motif handles, transfer decorated and painted in polychrome enamels with stylized floral sprigs, surmounted by a stylized floral finial, covered in a greenish-blue glaze, the base numbered in iron red 831/5. 6 1/2"H, 8 1/4"W, 5 1/4"D. Condition:lid and tureen crazed, small flake to base handle underside, one small frit spot on rim of stand.
