A Creamware Chestnut Basket
Made in England, late 18th century, the pierced form flaked by strap handles, painted with a band of yellow enclosed by chocolate brown borders, unmarked. 3"H, 9 1/2"W, 6 1/2"D.
Condition: light wear to brown enameled trim, a few scratched to the yellow band, base with expected scuff marks and wear.
