Two Vienna Porcelain Coffee Cans
18th century; one finely painted with the portrait of a young boy enclosed within a gilt cartouche, the rim and off set handle gilt, unmarked; together with a coffee can painted en grisaille with a castle landscape, the rim and handle gilt, the base signed in black enamel Emichburg. Portrait can 2 1/4". Other 2 1/2"H.
Condition:both with light scratches to gilding, portrait coffee can with unglazed interior rim, exterior with paste irregularity as a result of the making. (Black light did not indicate repair.).
