Pair of Austrian Cabinet Plates
Circa 1900, made by the Imperial Crown China Company, comprising two plates transfer decorated with classical scenes, one decorated with "The Triumph of Love" and the other "Ariadne on the Island of Dia", each enclosed within a heavily gilt and tooled band, the verso stamped with triple crown mark, the Imperial China mark in green, numbered 36 and 37 respectively. 9 1/2"D.
Condition: Ariadne with a shallow (1/8") chip on verso and two faint scratches, Love with a chip (1/8") on verso.
