Sign In to see what this sold for

Author: London, Jack
White Fang
vii, [3], 327, [1] + [4] ad pp. Illustrated with 8 color plates by Charles Livingston Bull including frontispiece with tissue-guard; pictorial endpapers. 7½x5, decorative blue-gray-green cloth lettered in white on front cover, in gilt on spine, cover illustration in black and white. First Edition, Second Issue.
Presentation copy inscribed by Jack London to Illustrator Harrison Fisher on the front free endpaper: "Dear Harrison Fisher: - 'They were fire-walkers! They were Gods!' - p.129. Jack London, March 11, 1914." With custom cloth jacket with leather spine label, cloth slipcase with leather edges. Second issue according to BAL and Woodbridge, with the tipped-in title page; Merle Johnson, however, states that the title page was always on a stub, or at least all the copies he examined. At any rate, copies with an integral title-page seem to be virtually unobtainable. BAL 11896; Sisson & Martens, p. 29.
