19th century, Cebu, Carved with long stylized hair, with long robes, raised over a base carved with three cherub heads. 19 1/4".
Condition: lacking hands, facial features with losses, losses to edges of robe and base. Provenance: The Mr. & Mrs. Lester Andelson Collection Exhibition: The Allen Memorial Art Museum, Oberlin College, February 9, 1981. Literature: Philippine Religious Imagery, Fernando Zobel de Ayala, 1963.
