Very rare copper engraving about the statue sculpted by Antonio Canova, destroyed in a fire in 1831. The test plaster is in the collection of plaster casts of Possagno. - Somewhat creased, lower right corner with wrinkle, some partly backed small marginal defects, staple within in the lower white platemark, margins trimmed and partly waterstained, brownstained on verso and recto, the print itself rarely affected.

Wenig knitterig, unteres rechtes Eck mit Quetschfalte, einige teils hinterlegte kl. Randläsuren, Heftklammer im innerhalb des unteren w. Plattenrands, Ränder beschnitten u. teils wasserfleckig, verso u. recto braunfleckig, der seltene Druck selbst davon kaum betroffen.
