France 1894, original program booklet of the 1st automobile race of the world organized by the Parisian newspaper "Petit Journal", 46 pages, complete inclusive covers, accordingly to the age in very good condition inclusive route plan, bound with a cord, museum piece (the Parisian journalist Pierre Giffard calls together with the magazine "Le Petit Journal" for a race, all horseless car were admitted to take part on the journey from Paris to Rouen with a distance of 127 km, required qualification was to drive a 50 km long circuit in 4 hours, of more than 100 declared drivers only 21 came to the start, winner was Albert de Dion ahead of Lemaitre and Doriox (both on Peugeot) . De Dion needed 7 hours with a average speed of 19 km p h with his steam-powered vehicle, this race lead to the formation of the Automobil-club de France (ACF) and to the organization of the next racing in 1895) .

Frankreich 1894, orig. Programmheft des 1. Automobilrennens der Welt veranstaltet von der Pariser Zeitung "Petit Journal", 46 Seiten, komplett inkl. Deckblättern, dem Alter entspr. sehr guter Zust. inkl. Streckenplan, kordelgebunden, Museumsstück (der Pariser Journalist Pierre Giffard rief zusammen mit der Zeitschrift "Le Petit Journal" zu einer Wettfahrt auf, sämtliche pferdelose Wagen waren zur Fahrt von Paris nach Rouen auf einer Streckendistanz von 127 km zugelassen. Qualifikationsauflage war eine 50 km lange Strecke innerhalb von 4 Stunden zurückzulegen. Von mehr als 100 angemeldeten Fahrern erschienen 21 am Start, Sieger wurde Albert de Dion vor Lemaitre und Doriox (beide auf Peugeot). De Dion benötigte mit seinem dampfgetriebenen Fahrzeug knapp 7 Stunden mit einer Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit von 19 km/h. Letztendlich führte dieses Rennen zur Gründung des Automobil-Club de France (ACF) und zur Organisation des nächsten Rennens im Jahr 1895).
