FRENCH FAUX TORTOISE, ROSEWOOD & METAL-MOUNTED BOXES, 19TH C., THREE, W 2"-3":Faux tortoise includes 2 rectangular boxes with silver and brass accents to the hinged covers, one of which opens to reveal two smaller hinged covers and a well (see additional photo), no apparent markings, W.2 1/4"; and 1 rosewood snuff box with white metal mounts, the hinged cover is inset with a four-leaf clover and "La Jurassienne" at the lift, W.2 3/4". Three items total.

Condition

The brass urn on the cover of the first box is askew (was likely glued); the cover of the rosewood box does not close completely.
