San Vincente Ferrer Figure, 19th c.
Gubat, Sorsogon, carved from hardwood with one arm raised with index finger held aloft, the other arm drawing his cloak close and holding the Bible, mounted with tin wings, covered in traces of gesso and polychrome enamel. 16 3/4"H Condition: lacking halo, chip to front of the cloak, losses to the bottom edge of his robe, crack on verso extending entire length of the form, tin wings with rust and pitting, wear to enamel.
