Hispano-Philippine Painting on Board 19th century, depicting an unidentified male saint, one arm raised, the other holding his robes and Bible, with wings.11 1/2" x 7 1/4". Condition: bukbuk damage to verso, two holes in board, painted surface very faded, paint flaking from face of saint, edges with wear. Provenance: The Mr. & Mrs. Lester Andelson Collection Exhibition: The Allen Memorial Art Museum, Oberlin College, February 9, 1981. Literature: Philippine Religious Imagery, Fernando Zobel de Ayala, 1963.
