19th century, Gubat Province, carved with her hands clasped in prayer, stylized robes flowing behind her, raised over a based carved with three cherubs heads, covered in traces of gesso and polychrome enamels. 13"H.
Condition: wear to side of head, loss to left side of robe, loss and crack to verso, painted surface with losses. Provenance: The Mr. & Mrs. Lester Andelson Collection Exhibition: The Allen Memorial Art Museum, Oberlin College, February 9, 1981.
