Description
An Egyptian limestone relief depicting a kilted man, Late Period, c. 664 - 343 BC, he holds a staff in his right hand and wears a layered wig and short beard. The details are nicely carved with remnants of paint still remaining. 9 1/8 in x 5 ¾ in (23.5 x 14.6 cm). Original deposits on much of the surfaces. Custom rectangular stone base. Ex New York City private collection.
