Clock with Pair Empire Candlesticks
French, 19th century, clock with stag and hound figures over rectangular casement, circular bronze dial with Roman counters, gilt surround over repeating shell and acanthus leaf border, platform base with gilt bronze scrolling feet, back plate stamped "Pons" in oval, dated 1825, for Honore Pons, movement by Pierre-Cesar Honore Pons, Paris (1773-1851), back stamped "1643" "F C", with pendulum and key, 16-3/4 in., some corrosion to areas of patinated bronze, missing glass cover on dial, corrosion to sides, feet and rear of stag; pair candlesticks with gilt nozzles and cups, reeded posts, tripod animal paw feet and bases, 13-1/2 in., corrosion and discoloration, otherwise good condition overall .
