Item Details
Description
Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. Quite interesting pottery grouping that, and excuse me for saying so, looks like a sex education lesson going on. Man rests against his female companion, his right hand resting between her legs, young child staring intently down toward his nude waist. There is a small unknown "stump" in front of the male. Size: 3-1/2"L x 3-1/2"W x 4"H.
Provenance: Ex-private Houston, TX collection acquired locally at auction or art gallery between 1983 and 1995.
All items legal to buy/sell under U.S. Statute covering cultural patrimony Code 2600, CHAPTER 14, and are guaranteed to be as described or your money back.
A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany all winning bids.
