Excellent condition. Old penned large paper label on reverse of frame: Carl Oscar Borg A.N.A. Spring in the High Sierras California. Old custom gilt wood frame. Borg was a Swedish born, American painter, known for themes of the Southwestern United States. Examples of his art are on display at Harvard University, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Brigham Young University, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and several other prominent museums. This is a fine example of his work with original frame and written title on verso.
