CONSTITUTION CAPTAIN'S GIG BACK REST

From the Captains gig (small boat) with the name Constitition and a carving of an Eagle. This is original and was sold or given away when she became a school ship.( In the summer of 1871, the Constitution was given a new gig. This is the back rest from either the first or second gig.)
