WALRUS IVORY SCRIMSHAW SHAVING KIT

The Love Birds circa 1845 shaving tube engraved on four sides with a pair of love birds, a rose, a beautiful lady waiting for her lover, a fern, a floral design and a compass design. The case holds an old fashion straight razor. The very bottom inside of the tube depicts a bare breasted woman. This tube was done by the same hand as Barbara Johnsons Dec. 11 1981 and the same hand illustrated in Flayderman's book, pp 65 and 170.
Condition : Very good but for small crack to case
