SHIP MODEL AMERICAN FRIGATE RATTLESNAKE

Cased ship model of the American Frigate (Rattlesnake), on her capture by the British her name was changed to Cormorant. She is a 20 gun Man O'War planked on rib construction, painted in her original colors. The model has 26 hand carved and painted figures, some in the rigging, others at various work stations and two playing cards. She has a native American figurehead. The model was made to the exact plans of the G.F. Campbell. She has a beautiful cradle with a plexiglass case on a wooden base.
