TURKMENIA, Namazga V, c. 2500-2000 BC. A round carved alabaster stamp seal with drilled designs of seven clusters of drill points totaling ten with five drill points in the seal's center. The edge of the seal is serrated like the first. The careful placement of seventy-five distinct drill points suggests that this seal had some sort of arithmetical or mystic use. The suspension loop on the back is completely intact on this fine seal. D: 40 mm. V. M. Masson, Altyn-Depe, 1988, pl. XVI, #17.
