BACTRIA, MURGHAB BASIN, (Margiana), c. 2000 BC. A two sided stamp seal in dark chlorite with a lion stomping upon a serpent in the exergue; a bird flies above the lion which has three stripes and wears a collar. On the other side a bull, its tail up, with disjointed serpent around, and three stripes on bull's . D: 53 x 48 mm. Sarianidi, p. 228, No. 108. Largest of these seals.
