Rome, c. 2nd- 3rd Century AD. A nice lot of 6 bone hairpins, 5 of the shorter variety with globular terminals and a large hairpin with a nicely carved stork or crane. All choice examples with good coloration. L: 3 3/8" to 8 7/8".
