Roman, c. 1st century AD. A buff slip ceramic erotic oil lamp with some original brown paint still evident especially within medallion. Discus shaped with short nozzle and ring handle. In center of medallion a naked man rises above female lying on her stomach. Beneath this is a man also lying on his back dressed in tunic and facing upwards. Attractive "V" designed incised border encircles medallion. Small age crack in center of medallion.
