Cyprus, c. 8th century BC. A large and extremely attractive red ware bowl adorned on both inside and outside with pale brown horizontal bands at rim, middle and bottom. Typical multi thin line circular design encompass the outside midsection of bowl with two large multi-lined bands on the inside at middle and at bottom of bowl. Two small brown loop handles are across from each other at bowls midsection. Choice condition with a few small areas of scuffs. Rare this nice! Ht: 6", D: 9.5".
