Greek Italy, Apulia, c. 330 BC. A choice red-figure Spindle Epichysis. Typical tall loop handle with trefoil spout. The body is adorned with a female head wearing laurel wreath and facing to right. Wave-like designs highlight the rest of body and base. A couple of small chips at sides otherwise a lovely piece. Ht: 7".
