Rome, c. 1st century AD. A small and finely crafted marble head of a cherub. Face appears to have a simple grin with chubby cheeks and small dimple in chin. Wavy hair is adorned with four flowers. Yellow and rust colors still are evident on hair as is some pale earth tones on cheeks. Some repairs evident especially on back side which is flat and unworked. On wood stand. Ht: 3.75".
