Rome, c. 1st-2nd century AD. A wonderful marble torso of Saturn (?), the god of the harvest as he stands nude with genitalia exposed and holds large upper portion of cornucopia with his left hand against his chest. Large flowing cloak or cape is draped over his bare chest and extends over and covering his backside. Right arm is severed above the elbow with right leg missing below knee and left leg missing above knee. Attractive rust colored patina throughout. Ht: 13". Nicely mounted on sturdy metal stand.
