UNUSUAL PAIR OF COUNTRY TWO-PIECE CORNER CUPBOARDS. Poplar with an old reddish brown surface. High, well-scalloped bases with applied and reeded pilasters on the cases. Two paneled doors in the bases with single dovetailed drawers at the waist flanked by rosette panels. A single door on the top with nine panes of old glass. Cove molded cornices. Thin red wash on the interiors with five shelves each. Two panes are cracked and small pieces of the waist moldings are missing. The top door and pilasters have been carefully cleaned on one. Other has areas of a later red on the top door. 43"w. 22"d., 82 3/4"h and 83 3/4"h.
