this amazing motorcycle was designed in America by Carl Neracher and subsequently manufacture both in England and in Syracuse NY,American production was from 1920 to 1928; this is an excellent example of a circa 1923 model with dual brakes; The Ner-A-Car Corporation promoted its sheet metal covered bike as an economical two-wheel automobile. The rider arrived "with clothing and shoes neat and clean" after an "exhilarating ride for one-third of a cent a mile; in 1922 "Cannonball" Baker set a record by driving a Ner-A-Car cross country from New York to California - a distance of more than 3300 miles completed in only 7 days, 82" l. overall
