Diane von Furstenberg Customised Fender® Stratocaster®. Diane's free spirited, independent and straightforward style are reflected in the bold pattern of her design for the RockCouture™ Collection. Belgian born Diane von Furstenberg made fashion history with her signature jersey wrap dresses upon her arrival in New York City in 1972, and has since headed up an internationally recognized brand. Her influence on fashion has been so profound that in June of 2005, Diane was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for her lifetime of consistent, creative influence over fashion. Her headquarters in New York City's meatpacking district also includes a theatre space, which has become a centre for creativity and a launch pad for young artists.
