These two awards recognize both Michael Jackson's songwriting ability and widespread popularity respectively. This shield-shaped award with plaque was presented to Michael on behalf of The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers for writing the hit single "I Wanna Be Where You Are." A second etched plaque cites Jackson as the "Most popular artist of the year on jukeboxes" in 1984. Both awards mounted on wood. Shield: Very good condition with some surface scratches, 16 x 10. Etching: excellent condition, 15 x 12
