Pair of circa 1780 Rhode Island fan-back Windsor side chairs, 36"h. x 18" height of seat x 21"d. x 21 1/2" splay of front legs. Provenance: Hawkes family of Saugus, Massachusetts. One chair with old surface, one refinished; split to right ear of old surface chair, otherwise good condition.
