Like any world-famous performer, Janet Jackson had a well-oiled publicity machine behind her rise to stardom. This array of images comprises a generous sampling of Janet's early black and white promotional photos and press releases from A&M Records, 1982-86. Among these press materials are approximately 30 black and white and color 8 x 10 photos signed by Janet herself.
