Randy Jackson's Custom Leg Guards with image, 1984

These elaborately designed custom leg guards were transformed from baseball catchers gear into futuristic eye-catching performance wear. Believed to be Randy Jackson's, the knee, shin, and foot guards are covered completely with metal studs and sequins attached to a sparkling mesh. The leg guards attach at the back with elastic straps and metal hook closures. Made by Rawlings, USA. Also included, Shirley E. Cartman's book, "A Teacher Remembers The Jacksons" containing an image of Randy in this performance gear on page 171. Guards: very good condition; loss of some studs resulting from performance use. 25 x 9
