Incredibly preserved antique music box with a single 8 1/8 inch cylinder. The cabinet is highly figured walnut with inlays on the front and the top. The bells and strikers are decorated with Flowers, 2 Bees and 2 Butterflies, all painted with polychrome enamel. There is a lithographed sheet attached to the inner lid titled "Bells in Sight", advertising the 8 "airs" presented on the cylinder. The music includes waltzes, marches and a mazurka. There is a single hallmark embossed on the tine bar in the shape of a french horn superimposed on a cross. Measures: 17 3/4" Wide X 12" Deep X 8" Tall
