The Philosopher Martin Heidegger (1889 - 1976) from the Spiegel Interview with Rudolf Augstein. 1966. 2 vintage gelatin silver prints on Agfa paper. 40 x 30 cm. 1 annotated in felt-tip pen by the photographer and 1 signed, titled and dated in pencil by the photographer, both with photographer's stamps on the verso.
These images are from the legendary Spiegel magazine interview between Rudolf Augstein and Martin Heidegger in 1966. Digne Meller Marcovicz took the photographs for this interview, creating icons of German philosophical history. - Both prints slightly buckled in edges, one with small loss in lower edge, otherwise unusually large prints in very good condition.
