PATENT MODEL OF A COMMERCIAL SWEEPER

A FINE PATENT MODEL OF A COMMERCIAL SWEEPER with 2" x 1 1/2" brass plate on each side of sweeper body, engraved patent May 3, 1904; May 9, 1905; July 3, 1906; May 14, 1907; Pending. This fine hand-built model incorporates the highest degree of intricate workmanship and detail. The model has not been polished in any way and is completely of brass construction. Details include an adjustable hand lever cam-operated handle adjustment mechanism for multi-position handle height and angle, the upper main sweeper frame with provision for pivoting to obtain reverse angle for changing direction of sweeping process. Other details include single under-mounted 3" diameter x 5" brush section with multi brass quill brush inserts, twin forward and reverse brass brush cover sections, six 1 1/4" diameter floor surface rolling wheels, numerous details including linkage, adjustments, etc. Dimensions: overall height with handle extended - 16"; overall width - 9"; overall depth of sweeper - 7"; estimated weight - 15 lbs. Appears to be complete and in operating condition. (See photo).
